Lost In The Manor & Just Listen To This Presents Blogtober Show. Our curated evening of music takes place on Friday 21st October 2016.
We are delighted to announce the line-up for Just Listen To This’s curated evening at the Blogtober Festival at The Finsbury, North London, featuring bands and artists chosen by 31 of the most important online tastemakers.
Blogtober takes place from 1st-31st October 2016 at The Finsbury, London N4 (next to Manor House Tube station).
Throughout the month of October, The Finsbury — north London’s showpiece venue for cutting-edge music — will welcome 31 different online music blogs who will each take over an evening to curate their own line-up of choice new acts. These blogs, webzine’s and radio stations have been chosen for their commitment to featuring emerging musical talent, and also their finger-on-the-pulse nous for recognising the acts that are set to soundtrack the future.
Conceived by Lost In The Manor, itself an online blog, label, and press agency, as well as a long-established London promoter, the entire Blogtober Festival will be free of charge, representing an unmatched opportunity to check out the most exciting current sounds from the capital and beyond, as chosen by the pick of the musical forums.
Just Listen To This’s event will be taking place on Friday 21st October 2016 with the following lineup:
Hollie Stephenson (Live Headliner)
Dave Hanson Band (Live)
The Tom Browne Band (Live)
Hollie Stephenson – At just 18 years old, Hollie has released her self-titled debut album with guidance and support from producer, musician, songwriter and member of The Eurythmics Dave Stewart, performed at Madness’s House of Common Festival at Clapham Common, toured as a special guest for The Puppini Sisters, Paul Young and ex Noah and The Whale guitarist Fred Abbott as well as writing her own original material. With her thoughts now on her next album, this is a rare opportunity to see this rising star in an intimate London setting.

Dave Hanson Band – Having recorded and toured the world as part of The Dunwells, Dave realised his calling as a solo artist and began working on his EP ‘Blind Faith’ and then his album ‘Almost Horizontal’ which are both out now on Six String Social Records. In summer 2016, he was selected to be ‘Artist of the Month’ by well-known coffee shop chain Caffe Nero and then proceeded to tour Caffe Nero’s across the UK before ending the tour at the famous Cornbury Music Festival to a packed tent of music lovers.
This multi-talented individual has an incredibly tight live band of musicians and vocalists who connect with audiences at both headline shows and festivals alike. Prepare to be taken on a musical journey with tracks such as the laidback ‘Midday Sun’ and the hypnotic ‘Blind Faith’.

The Tom Browne Band – Hailing from Guildford, Surrey The Tom Browne Band are a four-piece which consists of Kiera Browne (Vocals/Rhythm Guitar) Josh Brown (Drums) Tom Wells (Lead Guitar) and Leon Wayland (Bass Guitar). The band released their track ‘Grey’ earlier in 2015 and have recently followed it up with new song ‘Regardless’. Both of these songs precede the band’s EP which will land in October 2016.
Learning their craft through constant touring at venues and festivals across the UK, 2016 will be a big year for The Tom Browne Band and we are incredibly honoured that they will be treating us to a special set at The Finsbury.
Sometimes when a band or bands perform at a small, intimate venue some people say they were at the show to be cool but in actually fact they didn’t attend at all. Bring a member of your family, your other half or a friend to enjoy an evening of music by the artists of the future.
