Sir Dave Kelly and Dame Maggie Bell, I call ’em. Blues / roots royalty. The combination of Bell’s majestic Glasgow Soul voice, Kelly’s gritty Chess & Sue singing and his insistent guitar drive make for a pairing unlike any other. Steeped in The Blues but never afraid to venture beyond it, their music more than anything pours out heart and authenticity. Every now and again they team up to tour – Blues Band and Hamburg Blues Band commitments allowing – so here is your chance to catch some real talent on a mission to entertain.

The twelve-date UK tour begins on Wednesday 11th April 2018 at the St Austell Arts Centre, St Austell, Cornwall, United Kingdom. All dates venues and ticket links are listed below.

Maggie Bell – Scotland’s Queen of Soul, founder member of Stone the Crows, later had an incredibly successful solo career on both sides of the Atlantic, now once again back on the music scene after a 20 year lay off. She was a resounding hit at the Led Zeppelin reunion concert in 2008.

Dave Kelly – London’s slide guitar king, having learned his trade in the backing bands of, and recording with, Son House, Howlin Wolf, John Lee Hooker, Buddy Guy, Junior Wells to name but five blues legends, a founder member of The Blues Band, still wowing audiences after nearly 30 years.
