Paul Young Announces ‘No Parlez’ 35th Anniversary Autumn 2018 UK Tour

It cannot be that many years since this hit-packed album was released! Oh yes it is..and Young will tip his hat to its success in a series of dates:
To celebrate the 35th Anniversary of his debut album ‘No Parlez’, English singer has announced a sixteen-date UK tour for Autumn 2018 which will start on Saturday 29th September 2018 at The White Rock Theatre in Hastings, United Kingdom.
‘No Parlez’ was officially released on 18th July 1983 and produced by Laurie Latham (Squeeze, Echo and The Bunnymen and Glenn Tilbrook). Band personnel included Steve ‘Boltz’ Bolton who is still touring in the band Atomic Rooster today and sought-after bassist Pino Palladino whose past credits include John Mayer, The Who, Don Henley, Go West as well as Paul Young’s other albums ‘Other Voices’ (1990) and ‘The Secret Of Association’ (1985).
Young, winner of a Brit Award for best male vocalist, was a stand-out solo star of eighties pop, whose soaring vocals in songs such as ‘Wherever I Lay My Hat’; ‘Love of the Common People’ and ‘Come Back and Stay’.
Those three hits all featured on debut ‘No Parlez’ which was released in 1983 – the first of Young’s three UK number-one albums – and it helped make him a household name. The record stayed at the number one in the UK charts in 1983 for five weeks and became triple-platinum.
The tour is presented by The MJR Group By Arrangement With The Neil O’Brien Entertainment.
