Jack Edwards of Piston has received an endorsement from Gretsch Guitars in what is set to be a busy year for the rising rock band. Read on…

Gretsch Guitars are pleased to welcome Jack Edwards from UK based rock band Piston into the Gretsch artist roster.

Piston are set to release their eponymous debut album on Friday 13th September 2019 with a UK tour to follow where Jack will be sporting his Billy Duffy Signature White Falcon Gretsch guitar.

“I am so excited to be associated with Gretsch Guitars,” Says Edwards.

“When I was 11, the first band I saw live was The Cult,” says Jack. Billy Duffy left me speechless. I swore blind that one day I would own that very guitar and bring it back into the world of new rock with cranked up amplifiers, effects and aggressive playing. I’m honoured to be an official Gretsch artist. It’s a childhood dream come true.”

The five piece rock and roll band from Cannock, Staffordshire, recently won a competition on Planet Rock to play the Rising Stage at Ramblin’ Man Fair at Mote Park in Maidstone on Sunday 21st July 2019. The band tour the UK with Collateral in September 2019, followed by an October 2019 Roadstars UK tour with Hannah Wicklund & The Steppin’ Stones and Gorilla Riot.
