Lulu Announces ‘Champagne For Lulu’ April 2024 UK Tour
Well this is something to ‘Shout’ about!
Our greatest female UK rock n roll legend, Lulu, turns 75, and to celebrate her birthday, she announces that she’ll be hitting the road in 2024, with her ‘Champagne For Lulu’ tour. Five spectacular live dates in April, kicking-off in her hometown of Glasgow, and touring through Manchester, Southampton, Birmingham; culminating at The London Palladium.
On 17th April 1964, a 15 year-old Lulu stormed into the UK charts with her iconic, ‘Shout’, a song that would turn the wee girl from Glasgow into a cherished national treasure. Now, exactly 60 years (to the day) since she released ‘Shout’, this pioneer of popular culture prepares to celebrate her 75th birthday year with fans on her “Champagne For Lulu” Tour ending at the London Palladium on Wednesday 17 April 2024.
’75 – I can’t believe it!’ smiles Lulu, ‘ and 60 years in the business! What an amazing journey it’s been, so many memories – wow.
