This limited edition green split 7” with Ewan and Shamus Currie’s band “BROS” is available today through Dine Alone Records and the Sheepdogs label Right On Records. Titled “Santa Man” – a cheery cheeky rock’n’roll number where frontman Ewan grooves through all the seasonal traditions, singing “if Christmas goes to plan, I’m coming down the chimney, it’s your Santa Man.”
Ewan states: “There’s a lot of Christmas music out there, but not nearly enough Christmas Rock N Roll. So we’re making like Santa and delivering the December goods: a Xmas-party banger for your next holiday shindig.”
He continues, “Christmas is a time for bringing family together, so it’s only fitting that this holiday season The Sheepdogs and BROS finally join forces for a Christmas to remember! One side rock n roll, one side latin-pop tinged escapism. It’s a double shot of holiday cheer that’s sure to get you in the holiday spirit.”

Ewan’s brother Shamus, keyboard/trombone player in The Sheepdogs and fellow collaborator in “BROS” explains: “Hot Christmas” is a spicy piece about getting away from it all and having a Christmas vacation complete with Latin grooves and rhythmic piano ideas.”
This is The Sheepdogs second Christmas single having released “I’m Ready For Christmas” in 2022, proof indeed that the band just loves to get in the festival spirit!
As we move into December, you may even get to hear a Christmas number live!
