Zaho de Sagazan To Tour The UK In February 2025
Zaho de Sagazan – one of the fastest rising stars in French music – is about to embark on her UK tour this month, playing to 5,000 people during 5 dates in the UK & Ireland. These dates are to be quickly followed by her impressive run of sold-out shows across Europe throughout March. Following her 4 award wins last year, Zaho has also recently been nominated for 2 categories at this year’s French Music Awards, Female Artist Of The Year and Live Performance Of The Year, with the awards set to take place 14th February 2025.
La symphonie des éclairs (Le dernier des voyages), her latest release, was the expanded international edition of Zaho’s breakthrough debut album La symphonie des éclairs, which was #6 in the Album Charts of the year in 2024.
It features seven previously unreleased tracks alongside the original record, charged with dark electronic energy and touching on the most intimate truth of emotions, and has received Double Platinum in France with +200k albums sold. Among these new tracks is single ‘Ô travers’ (‘Faults’) – an artistic profession of faith and an ode to embracing one’s flaws – the live favourite ‘Dernier des voyages’, sensual techno cut ‘Hab sex’ and more. The album received immense support across national radio in the UK, particularity on BBC Radio 2 and BBC Radio 6, where she also featured for interviews with Jo Wiley and Cerys Matthews.
Originally released in March 2023, La symphonie des éclairs has since gone Platinum in France with 100k+ records sold, garnered critical acclaim and led to Zaho receiving four prestigious French Music Awards (Album of the Year, Best Original Song, Best Female Newcomer, Best Newcomer Live Act), becoming the first artist to do so in a single night. Zaho has also graced the covers of some of the most notable magazines this past year, including ELLE, Bazaar, Rolling Stone France, Vanity Fair, Financial Times Magazine and Puss Puss.
Following 116 sold-out shows globally in 2023 and soundtracking the Louis Vuitton SS24 show in Paris, this year saw even more historic moments for Zaho: she performed at her first Zénith arenas in Paris and Nantes and a flurry of summer festivals; covered the Edith Piaf classic ‘Sous le ciel de Paris’ during the closing ceremony of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games; and opened the Cannes Film Festival with a special rendition of David Bowie’s ‘Modern Love’, bringing jury president Greta Gerwig to tears.
