Pop Sensation And Anti-Bullying Campaigner Casey McQuillen Announced As Advocate For Global Youth Charity ‘Ditch The Label’ Ahead Of UK & Europe Headline Tour
Following a whirlwind year on sold-out European tours with Anastacia and Eurovision winner Loreen, London-based singer-songwriter and passionate anti-bullying campaigner Casey McQuillen has been proudly announced as a new advocate for popular global youth charity Ditch The Label ahead of her UK & Europe headline tour ‘The Better Tour’ this Autumn.
Aligning with Casey’s beliefs, messages of empowerment and advocacy, Ditch The Label’s confidential support mentors have helped young people between the ages of 12-25 all over the world navigate mental health issues, anti-bullying, identity, and relationships. Resonating with the essence of the singer’s emotionally-charged discography – ‘Skinny’, a heartfelt anthem that addresses her personal struggle with body image within the public eye – it makes for a perfect collaboration set to raise awareness for the charity’s devoted work and aims.
Casey is a devoted anti-bullying campaigner, influenced by her personal experiences with bullying growing up. With the aim of raising awareness and using music as a positive platform to support young people facing similar challenges, she has performed her impactful concert series at more than 200 middle and high schools, reaching over 50,000 students across the US, UK, and Ireland. The ‘You Matter’ Tour was recognised by the UN Foundation and was recently featured on The Kelly Clarkson Show. Now teaming up with Ditch The Label, her genuine and fearless campaigning continues.
On the collaboration, Casey says, “I’ve spent years touring schools across the U.S. and Europe, performing my anti-bullying concert series and connecting with students about confidence, kindness, and self-worth. That’s why I’m so proud to officially partner with Ditch the Label, an organization that shares my mission to empower young people to stand up against bullying and embrace who they are. Together, we’re amplifying a message that’s more important now than ever: you are not alone, and you are enough.”
The announcement follows the release of ‘Better Than This,’ an uplifting pop-rock anthem inspired by her journey of moving to London and pursuing a music career. Following the success of her critically acclaimed self-love anthem ‘Better,’ Casey showcased another side of her powerhouse songwriting, delivering an inspiring message for anyone embarking on a new beginning. Next, she’s set to release her nostalgic new single, ‘Wedding Day,’ out Friday 22nd August 2025.
After winning over audiences on her sold-out European tour supporting Eurovision winner Loreen this spring, the song reached even greater heights as Casey joined pop icon Anastacia on tour this April and May. Since February 15th, she has captivated crowds and performed to a staggering quarter-million fans across 53 arena shows. Now set to embark on a 15-date headline tour across the UK and Europe this September, her performances promise to highlight her signature blend of confidence, relatability, and undeniable talent.
On the touring front, Casey has previously supported incredible acts like James Morrison, Beverley Knight, Marti Pellow, Newton Faulkner, Will Young, Eric Hutchinson, Stephen Kellogg, Kate Voegele, Tyler Hilton, Clark Beckham, David Ryan Harris, and Nick Howard. The songsmith has organically accumulated tens of thousands of followers on social media and millions of views and streams of her music online, largely because her songs are authentic, intimate, and relatable.
Casey’s debut album, ‘Skinny’, which includes the hit single ‘In & Out’, a duet with Jon McLaughlin, found its way into several major playlists, being spotlighted by the likes of Apple Music and Amazon Music.
