Conor Mason Leads Nothing But Thieves on Upcoming ‘Dead Club City’ Tour
British alt-rock band Nothing But Thieves has revealed plans for their upcoming UK and Ireland headline tour, following the release of their fourth album, ‘Dead Club City’. The album, featuring 11 tracks, is set to be released on 7th July via RCA/Sony Music.
Kicking off with two nights in Glasgow on 31st October and 1st November, the 10-date tour will include performances in major cities such as Manchester and London. The band will headline the OVO Arena Wembley on 10th November. The tour will wrap up with a show at Dublin’s 3Olympia Theatre on 20th November.
Before embarking on their UK and Ireland tour, Nothing But Thieves is scheduled to perform at Radio 1’s Big Weekend in Dundee on 28th May. The band is currently touring Australia and will set off for a North American tour in September and October.
Their previous album, ‘Moral Panic’, was toured extensively in 2021 and 2022, selling over 110,000 tickets, including a record-breaking headline show at London’s O2 Arena and a 17,000-seat show at Amsterdam’s Ziggo Dome.
Last month, the band released the lead single ‘Welcome to the DCC’, which has become their biggest airplay track to date, making it to the A-List on Radio 1 and Radio X. ‘Dead Club City’ promises to be an innovative new chapter for the band, exploring themes such as advertisement, unity, internet culture, the music industry, ageing, politics, escapism, and change.
Nothing But Thieves, hailing from Southend, comprises Conor Mason (vocals, guitars), Joe Langridge-Brown (guitars), Dominic Craik (guitars, keyboard), Philip Blake (bass guitar), and James Price (drums). The band has achieved global success with multiple gold and platinum records, amassing over 1.2 million worldwide album sales, 2 billion worldwide streams, and 250 million video views.
Tickets for the UK and Ireland tour will be available for pre-sale starting at 10 am on 2nd May and will go on general sale at 10 am on 5th May.
