The Oxfordshire gathering reveals the first major signing for the 2019 sessions…and this is an act that really Gets Around…

Cornbury Music Festival confirms The Beach Boys as first headline act for 2019.

Rock legends, The Beach Boys, will bring a Californian vibe to the Cotswolds next summer topping the bill on the final day of The Cornbury Music Festival at Great Tew. The Beach Boys are sure to be a huge crowd puller for England’s most elegant music festival; their unique sound has made them one of the World’s most successful acts, selling in excess of 100 million records since they formed in the 1960s.

‘There are certain legacy artists that we’ve been after for many years’, says Cornbury organiser Hugh Phillimore ‘finally our number got called by The Beach Boys. We’re completely thrilled to welcome them to Oxfordshire’.

Spreading a ‘Sweet Sunday Kinda Love’, The Beach Boys, featuring Mike Love and Bruce Johnston, headline Cornbury’s main stage on Sunday 7th July 2019 rounding off what promises to be a spectacular weekend of entertainment with a full three-day musical line-up of big name acts and exciting newcomers.

Cornbury Music Festival is a lovingly crafted, top-notch open-air party held in the stunningly beautiful Great Tew Park near Chipping Norton in the heart of the Cotswolds. It’s a unique hybrid of premium music festival and quintessentially English village fete. There is always something for everyone with a fantastic line-up over four stages, a comedy stage, fantastic food offerings, a creative kids zone, a traditional funfair, an exclusive VIP area and beautiful campsites nestled in the estate’s rolling hills.

The Festival is very much a family affair. The Kids’ Zone is right in the middle of the festival, in sight of the main stage, so families can drop in and out whilst seeing all the festival highlights; and, unlike other festivals, all activities are free with something for all ages on the go all the time. Entrance for under-threes is free, and quieter camping options are at the same price as general camping tickets.

Cornbury Music Festival runs from Friday 5th-Sunday 7th July 2019 at Great Tew Park, near Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire, United Kingdom.
