Celebrated South African blues rock guitarist Dan Patlansky returns to UK shores for a UK tour in April and May 2017 with special guest Ash Wilson. This will be the first tour Patlansky will undertake following his special guest appearance on King King’s 2016 UK tour, and Joe Satriani’s 2015 UK and European tour.

His album ‘INTROVERTIGO’, similar to ‘Dear Silence Thieves’, is produced by Theo Crous and was recorded at Bellville Studios, Cape Town. Patlansky used his personal life experiences as inspiration for the album to ultimately marry good songs with guitar playing.

“I remember when I saw Dan Patlansky launch his album ‘Dear Silence Thieves’ at The Borderline in London a few years ago and I was impressed with not only his fluidity as a guitarist but also his songwriting with tracks such as ‘Backbite’ and ‘Pop Collar Jockey’. He then returned with his new release ‘INTROVERTIGO’ and toured the UK with British blues rock outfit King King to both public and critical acclaim. Going from strength to strength (especially in a live setting), this is the perfect time to see him in intimate surroundings before the concert halls beckon.” – Glenn Sargeant Just Listen To This

Patlansky’s special guest is the Lincolnshire-based singer-songwriter, Ash Wilson. Hailed as one of the UK’s most exciting and distinctive new vocalists, guitarists and songwriters in the British contemporary blues scene, Wilson’s debut album, Broken Machine (released Friday 21st April 2017) is tipped as a watershed achievement in terms of the many musical styles, which begins and ends with the blues at its very core.

His new album, which is widely considered by many UK blues pundits as contender for the best debut album from a new blues guitarist, features the crème de la crème of British blues musicians talent at the top of their game including bassist Roger Inniss (Chaka Khan, ex-Laurence Jones), keyboardist Bob Fridzema (King King, Dana Fuchs), and guitarist Jesse Davey (The Hoax).
