Galaxy Thief Music Video World Premiere

Swanage based indie/pop four-piece Galaxy Thief have been honing their sound with extensive touring since 2017 and they now have a brand new single ‘Lucia’ AND an accompanying music video which we have the world premiere of below: 

Oozing über cool charisma and a cheeky irresistible energy that’s catching the attention of a snowballing fan-base, UK indie/pop band, Galaxy Thief, bound into Spring with their vibrant new single, ‘Lucia’, released Friday 7th June 2019 on Right Track/Universal.  Since their formation in 2017, the boys have performed over 100 gigs nationally, wowed audiences on the main stage at The British Grand Prix and at Bestival, played live on BBC Introducing, and their second single, ‘Money’, featured on ITV’s This Morning. Now the boys are back and bursting with a rocket full of fresh new material for 2019 – Galaxy Thief are shooting for the stars, join the ride!

Powerful and punchy, ‘Lucia’ serves up a delicious dose of gritty indie/pop, that’s a perfect radio-play track for those hot sunny days when you’re partying with friends. A pop song with ‘bite’, the powerful force of vocals from lead singer, Jamie, literally thunderbolt their way around determined beats and chords, making ‘Lucia’ a track of explosive dimension. The band defy anyone to sit still to this track.

 For those not yet familiar with the Galaxy Thief phenomenon, meet the 4-piece that are:

– George: holding a license to shred, wields the lead guitar blasting contagious riffs strong enough to encapsulate the listener from lightyears away.

– Jamie: the electric frontman exudes infectious energy with his impressive vocals and bouncy guitar rhythms.

– Ben: with his cheeky attitude, Ben brings a vibrance to the outfit and provides the solid backbone to their tight, lively beats.

– Jake: the cool, calm and collected bassist that, until now, the world didn’t know they needed is sure to have your body rockin’ and your jaw droppin’.

The band were formed when guitarist, George, met rising star, Jamie (some may recognise him from X Factor), who then pulled Ben Watton into the fold. After a few line-up changes for 2019, Jake, has joined the band and the chemistry is phenomenal. As their sound storms across the UK, the boys are garnering ever- increasing interest with UK media, with spiralling radio plays and interviews, including a Sky MYTV ‘My Top 10’, plus live performances that are proving to UK audiences that this band are reaching cosmic heights.

Beyond the realms of a band simply making great music, these boys are a creative powerhouse; a new generation of talent that’s shrink-wrapped with a tightly-packed injection of mischief and fun. Writing and recording their music in their home-made studio on George’s dad’s farm, near the South Coast, affords the band the time and space to evolve their sound on their own terms.
