George Benson Announces June 2016 UK Tour
Legendary ten-time Grammy winner and NEA Jazz Master – George Benson, whose career spans five decades – announces a seven date UK tour from June 20th – 28th, 2016. This includes a night at London’s prestigious Royal Albert Hall on June 28th. Tickets go on sale: Friday November 27 at 9.00am.
The live shows will feature George Benson’s masterful guitar playing, and Benson and his band will perform his Greatest Hits from his impressive back catalogue – which includes such classics as: ‘Give Me The Night’, ‘Lady Love Me (One More Time}’, ‘Turn Your Love Around’, ‘Love X Love’,’ Never Give Up On A Good Thing’ and ‘In Your Eyes’.
In addition, George Benson, recently released ‘The Ultimate Collection’ – a deluxe 2-CD, 36-song collection which features his greatest hits, including “When I Fall In Love” with Idina Menzel. Also included are special extended versions and rarities.
He also did a duet performance with Van Morrison, on his latest album ‘Duets: Re-Working The Catalogue Album’.
