“No sooner had the second Glasgow Blues Rhythm & Rock festival been completed than we have Solid Entertainments, staying true to their two-a-year word, announcing the next one.
 
On Sunday 19th November 2023,  Solid Entertainments’ Blues Rhythm & Rock Festival series returns to Glasgow with another six band showcase at the Oran Mor.                                                                 
Headlining the event in their celebratory 60th Anniversary year will be the Animals and Friends), led by founder member John Steel, to play their greatest hits for the Glasgow audience.
As per the previous two GBR&R festivals, the line-up is shaped to provide different shades of blues and rock.                                                                                                                                                    
Joining the Animals and Friends will be the 60s & 70s electric Chicago and Texas blues sounds of The Cinelli Brothers; the modern rock blues of one of the best new bands on the circuit, Brave Rival; the individualistic prog, pop & funk fusion of French blues rock exponent Felix Rabin; those acclaimed purveyors of soulful blues rock, Xander & The Peace Pirates; the contemporary British bluesman with the authentic sound, Mississippi MacDonald.
