The Kentucky Headhunters Announce October 2017 UK Tour.

Southern rock band The Kentucky Headhunters have announced that they will return to the UK for a headline tour following their sold-out debut July 2016 headline tour alongside their appearance at Ramblin Man Fair 2016 in Maidstone, Kent, United Kingdom.

Founded in 1968, under the name Itchy Brother, the Young brother performed under that name until 1982, forming The Kentucky Headhunters in 1986. They released their debut album, ‘Pickin’ on Nashville’ via Mercury Records in 1989, for which they won a Grammy Award for Best Country Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal. They released two more albums on Mercury Records; ‘Electric Barnyard’ in 1991 and ‘Rave On!!’ in 1993.

Since then they have released ‘Stompin’ Grounds’ in 1997, ‘Songs from the Grass String Ranch’ in 2000, ‘Soul’ in 2003, ‘Big Boss Man’ in 2005, and ‘Dixie Lullabies’ in 2011.

The Autumn dates include shows in Nottingham, Bilston, Norwich, London, Manchester and Glasgow. The full list of dates, venues and ticket links are listed below.
