My Chemical Romance Announce Two Major Headline Wembley Stadium, London July 2026 Shows
Today, My Chemical Romance announce two major UK headline shows at the iconic Wembley Stadium taking place on 10th and 11th July 2026. Tickets go on sale at 10am on Friday 15th August, here.
My Chemical Romance’s impact continues to resonate across generations, and that influence shows no signs of diminishing. The announcement comes after the band’s sold-out 2025 North American stadium tour, “Long Live: The Black Parade”, which continues to win over the hearts and minds of fans and critics alike.
The Hollywood Reporter recently offered rave reviews of the band’s LA performance, saying: “My Chemical Romance Makes a Triumphant and Theatrical Return to ‘The Black Parade’ in L.A. MCR’s performance of The Black Parade in its totality would’ve been a hot ticket no matter what, but the band’s dedication to a full storytelling experience can’t be overstated. Led by Way’s over-the-top band leader, who, spoiler alert, meets a tragic end, The Black Parade portion of the evening was the perfect way to experience an album like this one.”
Whilst Variety commented: “The group’s performance of “Black Parade” was a full-on theatrical production. To the beat of a militaristic drum, with actors depicting despots and soldiers, the band took the stage donned in black marching band uniforms evoking the album’s original concept art. An energetic crowd swayed, sang and moshed along to the iconic 14 tracks while cheering along front man Gerard Way, who played the part of the album’s protagonist in a redemptive and fatalistic arc.”
In addition, My Chemical Romance recently released an expanded edition of their three-times platinum-certified sophomore album, Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge. This work comes nearly 21 years after its original release. To commemorate the band’s critically acclaimed 2004 album, GRAMMY®️-winning producer Rich Costey has created new mixes for the Deluxe Edition. The collection includes four bonus tracks recorded for the BBC in 2005: previously unreleased live versions of “I’m Not Okay (I Promise)”, “Helena” and “The Ghost Of You”, plus a live version of “You Know What They Do to Guys Like Us in Prison”, originally released as the B-side of the limited-edition UK CD single of “I’m Not Okay (I Promise)”.
