An exciting step for young Kentucky band and friend of the popular Black Stone Cherry, as the prepare to perform on Friday 2nd March 2018 here in London at The Boston Room right outside Tufnell Park tube station, on the Northern Line. They are mining the Southern Rock heritage BUT adding their own vibe, to create their own space and following – very much as BSC manged to develop and move on up the venue chain.

As some of the classic bands cease to tour, there must be room for the likes of OTIS to flay the flag for gritty, tuneful music… OTIS is new musical blood for a new day with heavy blues-rock riffs, soaring guitar work, a pounding rhythm section and raw, soulful vocals from front man/lead guitarist Boone Froggett (sounds like a character in ‘ Heartbeat ‘!)

The band blends roots music, blues, classic rock and, of course, Southern rock and has created an original sound reminiscent of some of the great classic rock/Southern rock bands from back in the day, like the Allman Brothers, ZZ Top and Wet Willie.
The band recently released their new album on Cleopatra Records, the rocking Eyes of the Sun, which was produced by Grammy-winning producer and friend of this site Paul Nelson, who earned his own stripes by playing and performing with the late great Johnny Winter and helping Johnny win a Grammy for his highly-acclaimed album, Step Back.
