Prudential Bluesfest London 2015 Full Lineup Announcement

Following the success of last year’s BluesFest, which saw in excess of 30,000 music fans descend on The Royal Albert Hall for an acclaimed, six-day celebration of blues, jazz, roots and soul, Live Nation have announced a three year deal that will see the festival return in November at a new London home – The O2 in North Greenwich.

Adopting a similar format to that used for this year’s event, the festival will incorporate a range of daytime activity alongside concerts in the Arena, indigo at The O2 and Brooklyn Bowl each evening.

Running across three days from Friday 6th – Sunday 8th November 2015, this will be the first time the world’s number one music and entertainment venue has hosted a blues festival and coincides with the fifth anniversary of BluesFest, which has gone from strength to strength since launching in 2011 with concerts at a range of small London venues including the 100 Club, Union Chapel and The Jazz Cafe.

In addition, this year’s Prudential BluesFest will present one of London’s biggest’s free music festivals when it takes over The O2 on November 7th and 8th. Running concurrently with its ticketed evening shows will be a series of free daytime performances, showcasing some of the most exciting names from the worlds of blues, soul and R&B.
