Shrewsbury blues rock band The Rainbreakers have released the official music video for the track ‘On My Own’.

The song is taken from the band’s new five-track EP ‘Rise Up’ which is out now.

The band explained the meaning behind the song:

“It’s about the realisation that sometimes it’s better to be on your own than in a destructive relationship. It’s always easy when you first meet someone to have your rose tinted glasses on, but at some point you have to remove the guard and that can reveal a completely different person to the one you thought. The song reflects the moment that you have the realisation and explaining that to your partner.

We’ve all been in relationships that we probably shouldn’t have stayed. This song reflects both parties feelings of not being right for one another. The constant push of the main riff throughout the song, forces you to move away from the destructive path and move on.”
