With 103 album releases, 123 single hits and the equivalent of 20 years spent in the UK charts, voted Britain’s “Ultimate Pop Star”, Sir Cliff Richard will be celebrating his 60th Anniversary in the music business.

Yesterday (Saturday 14th October 2017) Sir Cliff Richard celebrated his 77th birthday by announcing a 14-date UK & Ireland Tour. The UK shows are presented by Live Nation UK and the tour is entitled ’58-18=60′.

Sir Cliff Richard commented: “I am so happy to announce that I will be doing a tour to celebrate my 60th Anniversary in the music business. I cannot believe it is already 10 years since my 50th Anniversary in 2008 – so much has happened, and I’m very grateful that you have kept me busy!    I am truly delighted to be performing the 58-18=60 Tour, in September and October 2018 in a series of concert hall venues. I hope you will join me….. I simply can’t wait! – see you next year!”

The tour will include to shows at the iconic Royal Albert Hall, London on Sunday 14th October 2018 (The day of his 78th birthday) and Monday 15th October 2018. He has performed at the venue over 100 times since his debut performance in 1959!

“Richard to my mind, represents a performer whose joy in making music seems undiminished over more decades then virtually any other singer. The fact that he can tackle a wide number of styles from basic reverb-soaked rock n’ roll to country material to thoughtfully arranged European ballads means that listeners have any number of routes into his music. However, it’s that distictive voice and tone that gives him his own space in the business. One can only wish him luck with this set of dates as he again has the chance to entertain what must be the most faithful band of followers that any artist could wish for.” – Pete Sargeant Just Listen To This
