I Am RosieMay’s new video for her single Dishonest Mind is really quite interesting. Set in a skate/bike park, an electric guitar echoes to create a dark atmosphere as I Am RosieMay allows the song to become it’s own with her silky soulful voice at the forefront. The band appears to increase in size throughout the track and includes a violin which compliments the heavy rock sound perfectly.
It would be quite easy for me to compare her to Amy Winehouse or Duffy but the truth is she has is creating her own sound and that is absolutely fantastic as she is doing it without going on one of those reality television shows. I do predict quite big things for I Am RosieMay even in the current pop music market which is quite over saturated at the moment. Watch this space for sure.
