Richie Sambora And Orianthi Announce Debut Album

“I saw RSO in October 2016 at The O2 Arena, London, United Kingdom as part of Bluesfest London 2016 when they toured the UK and Ireland as Bad Company’s special guests. The band were on strong form as they mixed blues numbers, their own material and Bon Jovi hits such as ‘Livin’ On A Prayer’. The sound of two guitars weaved like a blues rock tapestry and the band consisting of bass, keys and drums kept everything tight. With a new album on the horizon, fans will be excited about finally hearing a full album of work.” Here’s what we know:
Richie Sambora and Orianthi have announced the release of their debut album.
The guitarists, who are also known as RSO, will put out ‘Radio Free America’ on Friday 11th May 2018 via BMG, following up last year’s ‘Rise’ and ‘Making History’ EPs.
The album was recorded over two years, mostly in their home in Los Angeles, with additional guidance from producer Bob Rock and features their previously released digital singles. Speaking about the album, Sambora said:
“I think these songs are about just being human. People have more in common with each other than they think. Ori and I have had the chance to see that up close, in front of millions of people around the world, for many years.
“It’s ingrained in us as songwriters, that desire to transcend language and genre, to play for people, entertain them, and write songs that can be the soundtrack to their lives.”
