They Might Be Giants Announce Exciting New Dates for Expanded 2023 UK Tour
The pioneers of the lo-fi revolution, They Might Be Giants (TMBG), are adding new shows and extending their 2023 UK tour due to popular demand. The band recently wrapped up a sold-out 70+ date US tour and have seen an enthusiastic response from their UK fans, with several shows selling out instantly.
With a now expanded 8-piece band, including a three-piece horn section, TMBG has planned additional dates in Southampton, Cambridge, Glasgow, Newcastle, Belfast, and Dublin. An extra London show at Shepherds Bush Empire has also been added to the lineup.
The high-energy performances are known for their engaging melodies, improvisation, and spontaneous crowd interactions. Fans can expect a diverse setlist featuring early favourites, tracks from their Grammy-nominated album BOOK, and highlights from their breakthrough album Flood.
Notably, there will be no opening act for TMBG’s concerts. The band is set to take the stage roughly one hour after doors open. Tickets for the newly announced shows will go on general sale at 10 am on Friday, March 31, here.
Newly added dates include:
- 3/11 Southampton, UK @ Guildhall
- 4/11 Cambridge, UK @ Cambridge Junction
- 5/11 London, UK @ Shepherd’s Bush Empire
- 7/11 Glasgow, UK @ SWG3
- 8/11 Newcastle, UK @ Boilershop
