Indigo De Souza Unveils New Album “All of This Will End” and Announces 2023 Tour Dates
Indigo De Souza’s latest album, “All of This Will End,” is now available through Saddle Creek, featuring a warmer and bolder sound that reflects the singer’s fearless move forward from her past. The album’s 11 tracks touch on themes such as mortality, the power of community, and living in the present moment.
To celebrate the release, De Souza shared a visualizer for the track “The Water,” which she initially wrote as an exercise to overcome a writing block. The song explores her love for moving water and its presence in her life, as well as memories of a childhood friendship.
“All of This Will End” follows her critically acclaimed 2021 album “Any Shape You Take.” The new album features tracks inspired by resonant moments in her life, including childhood memories, wandering the Appalachian mountains and southern swamps with friends, and the times she had to stand up for herself.
Indigo De Souza has also announced a 2023 tour with headline performances and dates supporting Sylvan Esso and Japanese Breakfast. Tickets are on sale now.
The North Carolina-based artist credits her recent creative inspiration to the stability and community she has found in her life. “My music feels like it’s coming from a centred place of reflection,” she says.
De Souza and her band recorded “All of This Will End” at Asheville’s Drop of Sun Studios with producer and engineer Alex Farrar. The album’s tracks capture a wide range of human emotions, showcasing a triumphant spirit of resilience throughout.
The album’s lead single, “Younger and Dumber,” is a heartfelt, nostalgic tribute to her younger self, acknowledging the challenges she faced while coming to terms with her existence. The song represents De Souza’s most intentional work yet, treating her past self with immense kindness and understanding.
“All of This Will End” is now available for streaming and purchase, with tour dates spanning North America and Europe throughout 2023. Find out more HERE.
