DETROIT RUN Announce New Single & EP
Anthemic Brit alt rockers, DETROIT RUN, continue their ascent with the release of their much anticipated new EP, ‘Defiance – Part 1’, which arrives on Friday 30th May 2025.
The hooky four piece have also delivered their engulfing new single and video, ‘Invincible’.
Fresh from this year’s PLANET ROCK’s Winter’s End Festival, DETROIT RUN are set to break out in 2025. Serving an alluring sound that is steeped with elephantine riffery, colossal refrains, and smart electronic nuances – DETROIT RUN have the ability and drive to reach the vanguard of the UK scene.
Formed at the end of 2022 and comprised of Tom Haywood (Vocals), Gary White (Guitars), Nathan Dillon (Bass Guitar), and Wes Cunningham (Drums), DETROIT RUN hail from Liverpool, England, and soon hit the ground running with their debut EP, Room 14. The release highlighted the band’s guile and true promise, paving the way for their 2023 singles, Maniac, Worst Enemy, and the anthemic, Sleepwalker. With a glut of stellar releases behind them, the industrious quartet arranged their own successful UK tour which culminated in a sold-out headline show. Further live performances followed including shows with Japanese titans, Jiluka, and a coveted slot at this year’s Winter’s End Festival.
DETROIT are now ready to strike out to a higher level and are armed with their explosive new EP, Defiance – Part 1. The band remark about the release “‘Defiance’ is what we believe alternative rock is in the modern day. We have blended titanic rock and electronic synth into a signature sound that we can’t wait to share with the world.”
