Glasgow Blues Rhythm & Rock Festival – Sunday 15th November 2026
The ninth Glasgow Blues Rhythm & Rock Festival is now just two months away!
Featuring six acts, including three Scottish bands and a headline set from Wille & The Bandits, who released their latest and acclaimed album Salt Roots earlier in the year, the event takes place on Sunday 15th November at the Oran Mor, with a start time of 2pm and end time of 10pm.
Scottish representation is once again blues rock loud & proud at the festival, with the big blues sound of Paul Gemmell & The Black Magic Blues Band, and welcome returns for Kelowna and the Lynsey Dolan Band. Paul Gemmell released a brand-new album Walkin’ in Broken Souls earlier this year while Kelowna recently released their full length debut album Superstar. The Lynsey Dolan Band released new funky, soul-blues material in the shape of the 5-track Higher EP in 2025. Completing the line up are blues rock outfit Burning Rope, who released their progressively-tinged second album Dissolution in May, and Americana/country blues artist Demi Marriner, who released her own second album, The Things I Said, in 2025.
