Hailing from South Wales, United Kingdom four-piece Punk Rock Factory are making a name for themselves with live tours in 2023/2024 and they told us all about their plans:

Who is in Punk Rock Factory and what do they play?
Peej – vocals/guitar
Benj – backing vocals/bass
Stead – lead guitar
Kob – Drums

How did you all meet and what was the first song that you performed together?                                                                                                                                                                 We were all in different bands together growing up! Came together to have a laugh… first song we ever did as PRF was 4/5 Seconds by Rihanna, Kanye West, Paul McCartney.                                                                                                                                                           Where is your hometown and could you please describe it in five words?                                                                                                                                                                         We’re based in Cwmbran, South Wales! It’s small, diverse, friendly, weird & Welsh!                                                                                                                                                             You recently released your EP ‘Poor Unfortunate Souls’. How did you want to approach making the EP and was it difficult selecting which songs to include?
3 of the songs we had already done, so we rehit them, made them better and added a new one no one had ever heard! That was Kiss The Girl! We were lucky enough to already be in contact with Alissa from Arch Enemy, so asked her to jump on and she LOVES The Little Mermaid!! It was a match made in heaven!!                                                                                                                                                                                                                                  Do you have any favoured stage instruments?
Give me a guitar and a mic and I’m good to go… don’t pass me a clarinet. Wouldn’t have a clue.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                 How do you look after your voices?
Plenty of practise, followed by rest! We always use Vocalzone products, as well as doing Melissa Cross vocal warmups before every show!
In addition, you will be touring the UK in the Autumn and then a seven-date tour of Wales in March 2024. How are you feeling about the shows and how did the idea of the tour of Wales come about?                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                 The autumn shows are pretty much sold out, so we’re buzzing!! Can’t wait to hit the road… We got a lot of call to play other areas of Wales, so thought a small run of the smaller club shows would be awesome way to do it! We hope the fans love it as much as we do.                                                                                                                                                            Could you please tell me about the track ‘A Part of Your World’?
We hit that track back on our second Disney album! We loved it, and to get Alissa to guest on it when we rehit it for the new EP, was absolutely incredible!                                                                                                                                                                                                  What two things do you hope to have achieved once you have left the stage?
For everyone to be leaving saying what a fun time they had, and for our tour manager to have the drinks ready in our dressing room!                                                                                                                                                                                                                                What makes Punk Rock Factory happy and what makes you unhappy?
Seeing and hearing our fans when we walk on stage is the most incredible buzz ever!! We also love meeting them all. We will always remain humble and never take them for granted!!… when tour comes to an end, it’s very bitter sweet. It’s great to get home and see our families, but we definitely miss being out too.
