Everette Release New Single ‘Settling Down’ Ahead Of First UK Headline Tour

by | Aug 1, 2026

Following a breakthrough year of touring on both sides of the Atlantic,  Nashville based Everette return with their new single, ‘Settling Down,’ ahead of their first UK headline tour this August.

Written solely by frontman Brent Rupard, ‘Settling Down’ is a deeply personal reflection on leaving behind the final traces of youth while embracing the next stage of life without losing the spirit that defines you.

Rupard explains:
“This song might be one of the most honest songs I’ve ever put out. I wrote it by myself, trying to capture the feeling I had of letting go of the last bit of the unhinged and wild youth I was still holding on to. There were parts of my youth that became my identity, and it was hard for me to give them up. This song is a picture of finally being okay with turning the page to the next chapter while also tipping my hat to the past that has shaped the person I am today. Along with that, not trimming any wild hairs or reducing my spontaneous existence, but directing it toward a deeper and more soul-filling endeavour.”

Following a run of dates across the United States, Everette will head to the UK for their first headline tour, marking another milestone for the band after spending 2025 supporting Larry Fleet on the Hard Work and Holy Water Tour across the U.S. and Europe.

Joining Everette on the Glasgow and Manchester dates will be British Country Music Association (BCMA) Award-winning singer-songwriter Gary Quinn.

Speaking about returning to the UK, Rupard says:
“I’ve always loved heading across the pond to hang out with my friends in the UK, but this year’s trip will hit different. It’s my first ever headline tour over there, and I couldn’t be more excited to finally make this happen. Every visit has been filled with so much love and support – now it’s time to give that back with a full Everette show.”

Blending bluegrass roots with Americana, country and rock ‘n’ roll influences, Everette have carved out a distinctive sound built on honest storytelling and memorable melodies. Led by Kentucky native Brent Rupard, the Nashville-based band has become one of the most talked-about emerging acts on the Americana and country scene.

Everette have performed at the Grand Ole Opry twelve times, toured extensively throughout the United States, the UK, Germany and Ireland, and shared stages with artists including Larry Fleet, Brothers Osborne and The Cadillac Three.

Away from the stage, Rupard has also established himself as an in-demand Nashville songwriter, with cuts recorded by Larry Fleet, Lee Brice, Josh Turner and Tracy Lawrence.
With new music continuing to arrive and their first UK headline tour beginning this August, Everette continue to introduce audiences on both sides of the Atlantic to their blend of Americana, country and bluegrass-rooted songwriting.

The Long Ryders Announce October 2026 UK Tour

The Long Ryders — pioneers of the Alt-Country movement — return to the stage this October with the same fiery spirit that first made them legends. Fusing punk energy with country-rock harmonies, the band bridged the gap between Gram Parsons and today’s Americana heroes, influencing acts such as Wilco, The Jayhawks and Uncle Tupelo.
