He has just released his brand new single ‘The Last Time’, taken from his forthcoming new EP ‘These Words’ – out Friday 9th June 2017.

Produced by Eddie Serafica (The xx, Jake Bugg), Ben Simon and Alex Francis, ‘The Last Time’ showcases Alex’s distinctive rasping, soulful vocal. A beautiful feel-good acoustic-pop track it is set to spark festival crowds into life all over the country this summer.

His emotive melding of rock and soul has won him fans far and wide. Alex hit the road in April, supporting Melanie C across the UK and Europe, winning legions of new fans along the way, as well as providing guest vocals on her latest single ‘Hold On’.

“Alex Francis has a textured, smoky voice on ‘The Last Time’ and is in the same territory as acts like Jack Savoretti and James Morrison in terms of musical style. The impactful chorus will certainly have crowds singing along (especially at open-air concerts and festivals). Keep an eye out for Alex Francis and his future projects as I predict big things.” – Glenn Sargeant Just Listen To This
