
Izzy Escobar Releases New Single ‘Hate To Be The One’
oday, rising star Izzy Escobar releases new single ‘Hate to Be the One’, an empowering post break up anthem written by legendary Grammy winning songwriter Diane Warren. Chatting about the single and working with Izzy, Diane said:
“Very excited for everyone to hear the amazing Izzy Escobar on my song ‘Hate to Be the One.’ It’s soulful and fun and feels like the sequel to ‘Only Love Can Hurt Like This’!! And there’s something very cool coming up with this song that we can’t talk about yet! Stay tuned!”
Renowned for her raw, emotionally charged storytelling and powerhouse vocals, Izzy Escobar released a stirring single ‘Gangster’s Wife’ earlier this year, taken from her acoustic EP ‘Sunny In London’, out now via Artist House.
Next week, the singer-songwriter is set to head out on her largest headline tour to date, hitting major cities across the UK, Europe and US. Izzy has also just been announced to perform at the acclaimed Festival International de Jazz de Montreal in June, alongside groundbreaking artists St Vincent, Kamasi Washington, Kokoroko and many more.
