Formed in a shared practice space in East LA, Clarion’s driven by the collective brain of Saya Oliva (vocalist/bass, she/her), Anthony Sanchez (guitar, he/him), and touring drummer Javier Flores. Pulling equally from the sounds of Sonic Youth, HUM, Black Flag, Julie, and Fennel, they’re carving out a sound akin to emotional whiplash––and it rules

Recent EP Blue Fairy is a harsh and abrasive mix of shoegaze, post-punk, and noise-rock. Throughout, the band turns chaos into catharsis as they discover their voice in real time.
