Maid Of Stone Festival 2025 Announces Friday Night Co-Headliners Joanne Shaw Taylor & Dirty Honey
Joanne Shaw Taylor and Dirty Honey will co-headline Maid of Stone’s Friday 18th July as Richie Kotzen withdraws.
The British born but Nashville based Joanne Shaw Taylor, known for her unmatched guitar skills and soulfull song writing and the L.A based rockers, described by many as the most exciting band in rock right now, will both perform equal length sets.
They will replace Richie Kotzen who has withdrawn from the event.
A statement from Kotzen’s agent states ‘Due to unforeseen circumstances beyond the Artist’s control, it is with great regret that we announce the cancellation of Richie Kotzen’s appearance and performance at the upcoming Maid Of Stone festival on July 18th in Maidstone UK. Richie sincerely apologizes for this disappointment and extends his gratitude to the fans for their understanding.’
To accommodate the co-headliners, Maid of Stone’s doors will now open at 13:00 on Friday 18th.
A Strong Friday Night Line-up
Joining JST and Dirty Honey on the main stage Friday will be Swedish melodic rockers H.E.A.T and UK rock veterans Quireboys. HEAT have recently played to packed crowds and rave reviews on their recent UK tour and with Spike back on top form with his supergroup of performers, Quireboys fans of all ages are once again delighted to have the band back and rocking harder than ever.
Known for his work with Skin and Jagged Edge, guitar maestro Myke Gray has announced a supergroup of his own to perform classics from his previous bands. With The Treatment’s Tom Rampton on vocals, Apriori’s Tony Lang on guitar and Inglorious’ Colin Parkinson on bass. His drummer is set to be announced soon.
Hillbilly Vegas, the Oaklahoma based southern rockers are experts in getting the party going and will open the main stage in style. Prepare to shake-it-like-a-hillybilly!
Shhhh it’s a Secret
And rounding out the Friday main stage will be a secret set. The organisers have dropped only a few minor clues as to who will perform but they promise that it will be one of those ‘you’ll regret it if you miss it’ moments.
Maid of Stone Unplugged
Maid of Stone also recently announced six bands who will perform acoustic sessions in the VIP area. On Friday 18th will be Kris Barras and local talent Stephan Brian Leonard.
Saturday 19th sees he return of South of Salem and a debut for Beth Blade and the Beautiful Disasters.
And Sunday 20th sees the return of Tygers of Pan Tang and a special intimate session from Firestarter stage headliners Empyre.
