Talia Mar Releases New Single ‘Lady’
Multifaceted singer and creator Talia Mar returns with new single ‘Lady’ which immediately stormed in to the Top 10 on iTunes upon release.
Marking a pivotal change in her life, the track captures a personal moment of reflection and growth, reflecting on womanhood and her hopes for the next generation of young women. It’s a bold declaration of self worth, and striving for a more empowering world for others to grow up in.
Speaking on the track, Talia says: “Lady was the first song I wrote after having my daughter! I was reflecting so much about my life as a woman and how differently I hope she experiences certain things, I love this song so much. It’s become so special to me!”
Talia is a singer, songwriter and content creator who first emerged as a compelling new voice in pop music in 2016 with her debut single ‘Stolen’. She has had commercial success starring on Sigala’s hit single ‘Stay The Night’, which peaked at No.11 on the UK Singles Chart, cementing her status as both a pop artist and a crossover success. She has gone on to release a run of singles and performed numerous sell-out shows across the UK. With a balance of vulnerability and confidence, she continues to carve out a space where internet-era storytelling meets modern pop craftsmanship.
Talia has appeared on Paul Brunson’s ‘We Need To Talk’ podcast, which, on launch, outperformed all of his other episodes and currently stands at over half a million views on YouTube. She has received notable support from the likes of Radio 1’s Future Pop, Kiss and Bauer in addition to standout media moments including her performance on Sunday Brunch, appearing on Never Mind The Buzzcocks and landing a coveted spot on CBeebies Bedtime Stories.
Alongside her music career, Talia’s engaging online presence has helped her cultivate a loyal global audience, amassing millions of followers across platforms with 1.4m subscribers across two YouTube channels and a further 2.2M followers across both Instagram and TikTok. Beyond music she is an avid gamer and streamer, having a dedicated channel for her gaming and regularly hosts music release parties on her twitch account. Her gaming hot takes have even been featured in Dazed.
