Replacing techno DJ decks with acoustic drum and brass instruments, MEUTE, create a hypnotic, street-style sound that’s evolved from their German techno roots, where Berlin became the epicentre and birthplace of the techno movement. Now MEUTE rave-up to the next level as they play to their biggest audiences ever in the UK.
“We’re really looking forward to coming back to the UK,” says Thomas Burhorn, founder and trumpet player of MEUTE. “We can’t wait to rave across the island with our new show in 2027! We have wonderful memories of our past UK shows – they’ve always had an incredible energy, and we expect the spring dates to be even more electric.”
For over a decade, MEUTE, the Techno Marching Band from Hamburg, has been turning heads around the globe with their explosive blend of hypnotically driven techno and expressive brass music. MEUTE, break rules and push boundaries. With nothing but acoustic instruments, MEUTE has redefined techno and the very idea of a marching band. Their viral hits and sold-out shows spark ecstacy around the world.
Armed with a new studio album and an entirely fresh live show featuring techno-inspired light architecture, MEUTE catapults itself to the next level of its evolution – more ecstatic, more driven, and more uncompromising than ever before. An organic big band that plunges people around the world into a shared state of euphoria – and now UK becomes part of the ecstacy. Don’t miss this incredible chance to be part of the new techno revolution with MEUTE!
