Rod Stewart Unveils New Music Video
Rankin
His daughter – one of the Sisterhood duo – calls him The Rodfather. Still creating and entertaining after more than five decades on the boards, there is no stopping this unique vocal stylist. Now, a new single and video is here…
With the release of his new album ‘Blood Red Roses’ coming Friday 28th September 2018, Rod Stewart has shared the video for his current single ‘Didn’t I’ (feat. Bridget Cady). The track is about the damage drugs can do from a parent’s point of view. This new album, his first in three years, follows international bestsellers ‘Another Country’ (2015) and ‘Time’ (2013) and will be released nearly 50 years to the date from when he signed his very first solo recording contract.
Cady, New York-born and bred, was in the touring production of Rent and sang with other artists before coming to Stewart’s attention. “I sang with a Italian artist named Eros Ramazzotti,” she told the Rod Stewart Fan Club. “Paul Warren toured with him as well and I met [him]. We finished Eros and a spot for Rod opened up. Paul called me and told me about the audition and the rest is history.”
