Sarah McGuinness Releases Musical Anthem As She Brings The Halyon Club Back To London’s Soho
Emmy nominated film director/producer and friend of JLTT Sarah McGuinness re-releases her most successful single to date as the stonkin’ anthem to the first opening of The Halyon Club in London for three decades.
For decades, the vibrance and vivacity of Soho nurtured the creative exuberance of London’s most energetic film and music industry. Now, as Emmy nominated director and producer, Sarah McGuinness returns to SOHO to fling-open the doors of her renowned Halyon Club for one night only in Leicester Square on 22 March, she re-releases her ultimate love song to Soho as an anthem to the club. ‘Don’t Let Our Love Go’ is re-released on Right Track/Universal Music with the intention of making an indelible Louboutin-stilettoed mark on Sarah’s much-loved SOHO stomping ground.
Deliciously rich soulful vocals chisel-out a love song to SOHO, as McGuinness creates a divine slice of foot-stomping melodic joy ahead of her live return of The Halyon Club to Leicester Square. ‘Don’t Let Our Love Go’ epitomises the heart and soul of Soho as it once used to be (before gentrification)….bubbling, determined and oozing creative charisma. Taken from her debut album ‘Unbroken’, McGuinness chose to re-record this single-version from scratch, to emphasise the soulful tones that prompted the original penning of the song.
Sarah McGuinness fans will also know that no McGuinness recording flies solo; there’s always a poignant hard-hitting cinematic quality piece of art to accompany her vocal executions – ‘Don’t Let Our Love Go’ is no exception. Shot in Soho, the video is a time-travel experience through the aged-veins of this once ‘pounding’ heart of London. Playing the part of ‘Soho Energy’, Sarah seductively struts through Soho waving her electric musical vitality, working to connect everyone she encounters. The video traverses the ages of the ever-diminishing Soho, from the 17th Century rake, the 1980’s romantic and the Warhol 60s and Velvet Underground, right through to the present day…..every era plays a part within this visual masterpiece. A seasoned film director, Sarah wanted ‘Don’t Let Our Love Go’ to be a tip of the hat to Soho which connected her to her creative passion; a place where people could once find their tribe and defy convention.
On March 22, 2026, in an exclusive appearance, Sarah McGuinness brings The Halyon Club back to London. Hosted by Sarah McGuinness as emcee, The Halyon Club exudes the joy and unapologetic glamour of yesteryear back to SOHO. The Halyon Club fuses the smokey world of 1930s classic cabaret, with sultry burlesque, 1960s Bond movie glamour, building to a Studio 54 finale of silver-and-gold sequin-sparking disco. Dress code: gold and silver disco glamour or black tie.
