
Tarja Turunen’s OUTLANDERS Project Announces Long-Awaited Album Featuring All-Star Guitarists
Renowned Finnish soprano Tarja Turunen and EDM pioneer Torsten Stenzel’s collaborative project, OUTLANDERS, is set to release their long-awaited album on June 23 through earMUSIC. Fans can now pre-order the album, which has been a decade in the making and features an all-star lineup of guest guitarists.
Among the twelve tracks on the album, seven have already been released digitally. The eighth single, “A Peaceful Place (Return To The Oasis),” featuring Walter Giardino, is now available on all digital platforms and as a limited collector’s edition 7″ vinyl exclusively in Tarja’s online store.
OUTLANDERS’ groundbreaking sound fuses electronic beats with Tarja’s classically trained voice and exceptional guitar performances. The result is an album that is both mysterious and powerful, blending modern and classic elements to create a captivating listening experience.
The album showcases the talents of notable guitarists such as Al Di Meola, Trevor Rabin, Joe Satriani, Jennifer Batten, Steve Rothery, Mike Oldfield, Walter Giardino, Ron “Bumblefoot” Thal, Vernon Reid, and Marty Friedman.
