Seafoam Green – Mine All Mine (Single)
Duo Seafoam Green have released their second single ‘Mine All Mine’ from their forthcoming album ‘Martin’s Garden’.
The soft piano and steady drumbeat intro are extremely tranquil as the bluesy rock electric guitar pours out like whiskey. The vocal harmonies of Dave O’Grady and Muireann McDermott are mixed well to allow the picturesque lyrics to enter the listener’s mind.
The inclusion of a slide guitar solo from Derek Trucks of the Tedeschi Trucks Band is technically flawless and is full of the usual Southern Rock tone that you would expect from a musician of his calibre. The collaboration is a good fit but not unsurprising since Truck’s bandmate Tyler Greenwell was involved in the record’s production.
In conclusion, whilst I personally prefer their first single ‘House On The Hill’, fans of Tedeschi Trucks Band, Blackberry Smoke and Marcus King might dig ‘Mine All Mine’.
