We had been fishing for a while for a quick chat with BluesFest director and musician Leo Green and as the 2018 event approached, it has happened. Cornbury Music Festival 2018, July 2018, Great Tew Park, Oxfordshire, United Kingdom

A phoenix-style return to love for 2018 – and beyond – found us Cornbury fans trekking back to the middle of nowhere (aka the Tews) for more music and entertainment . And some winceworthy ‘comedy’..It’s quite Ok driving around this area in the day and we found the signposting somewhat better this year. At night, driving around is hideous, for a stranger to the area. Whatever the expenditure on facilities in this neck of the woods, it sure ain’t going on lighting!

At this point in the Finnish star’s life she has much to write about. As an established blues-rock performer she already has a keen following in many countries, especially for her slide guitar style but from my recent speaking with Erja herself, an overall burning desire to write, arrange and sing and play an ever-wider range of material.
