Cornbury Music Festival 2016 Announces Friday Lineup

The Cornbury Music Festival returns for its thirteenth year in the beautiful surroundings of The Great Tew Park, Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire, United Kingdom on the weekend of Friday 8th July – Sunday 10th July 2016.

Cornbury Music Festival was founded in 2004 by Hugh Phillimore and has gone from strength to strength with many Just Listen To This favourites and friends gracing  previous lineups including Ben Montague, James Morrison, Beth Hart, Buddy Guy, Joe Bonamassa, Trevor Horn Band with special guest Seal, Squeeze, Wilko Johnson, Lulu, Joanne Shaw Taylor, Jess and The Bandits, Dave Hanson, Roger Hodgson, Billy Ocean and countless others.


The lineup for Friday 8th July 2016 has been announced and will include:

Promoter and organiser Hugh Phillimore said, “Spookily we’ve got our best three day festival line-up for our 13th year, and it’s a huge relief to be able to get at least one day off my chest!”

This is the first year Cornbury features a full day Friday line-up, with the arena opening at 9am and artists performing from 11am.

They are the first acts announced, more names will be announced in the New Year.

In addition to the music, expect the festival to offer a variety of attractions including a fairground, many morris dance pageants, children’s theatre workshops, theatre workshops, arts and crafts, speciality shops, novelty acts and upmarket catering offering everything from champagne and cappuccinos to real ale.

Today organisers have also announced they are offering up to 50% early bird discounts on day tickets for 13 days only. Friday early bird tickets are priced at £50 for an adult, £5 for a child.
