Izo FitzRoy Unveils Empowering Album ‘A Good Woman’ and Announces UK Tour Dates
British singer-songwriter Izo FitzRoy has released her much-awaited third album, “A Good Woman,” via Jalapeno Records. The album, which features a series of powerful and introspective tracks, explores Izo’s personal journey of self-discovery and reclamation of her identity as a woman in today’s world.
The album has already garnered attention from major radio stations, including BBC Radio 2, Jazz FM, and FIP in France. With this release, Izo FitzRoy cements her place in the music industry as a classic R&B artist, praised by critics for her soulful, powerful, and unrelenting voice.
“A Good Woman” is a musical exploration of Izo’s experiences with depression, ultimately leading her to reclaim her power and autonomy as a woman. The album’s tracks span a range of emotions and themes, from the soul-searching “Hope Divine” to the empowering “Chasing Days.” Izo FitzRoy collaborated with Oscar De Jong of Dutch electronic act Kraak & Smaak for the album’s production.
Accompanying the album release is a series of live videos filmed at The Pool in Bermondsey, south London. The final video in the series, “Keep Your Light On Me,” is now available to watch online.
Following a sold-out show at the Jazz Café in London, Izo FitzRoy is set to perform in Norwich, Manchester, and Brighton as part of her UK tour. The singer will also appear at Jalapeno Records’ Jalapeno Bop event in Brighton alongside The Allergies and Sam Redmore and the Tropical Soundclash Allstars.
