Joanne Shaw Taylor Announces January 2017 UK Tour.
Blues rock guitarist Joanne Shaw Taylor has announced a new seven-date UK tour for January 2017 with the announcement coinciding with her special guest appearances with blues guitarist titan Joe Bonamassa in Preston, London and Nottingham on his 2016 ‘British Blues Explosion’ Tour.
Joanne’s new studio album ‘Wild’ is released on Friday 30th September 2016 on her boutique label Axehouse Records. The album was recorded at Grand Victor Sound Studios, Nashville, Tennessee and was produced by Kevin Shirley (Joe Bonamassa, Aerosmith).
When asked about the recording process Joanne commented: “Recording at Grand Victor was incredibly inspiring. It is quite the legendary studio. Dolly Parton cut Jolene and I Will Always Love you here. And Chet Atkins worked here.”
