Marc Almond Announces One-Off London Show. The show takes place at the famous Playhouse Theatre in London, United Kingdom.
One of Britain’s most gifted and unique vocal talents, Marc Almond, has announced a special London concert at the Playhouse Theatre London on Sunday 23rd October 2016.
The one-off show will feature Marc Almond performing the songs of legendary troubadour Jacques Brel, as well as his entire classic, critically acclaimed 1987 album ‘Mother Fist and Her Five Daughters’, plus many more stand out tracks from his illustrious, diverse and maverick career.
Marc Almond will also be celebrating the release of a deluxe 10-CD box set he has recently curated, ‘Trials of Eyeliner – Anthology 1979 / 2016’ which will be released on Friday 28th October 2016 on Universal Music, featuring all of Marc Almond’s singles, 16 unreleased tracks, and many more rarities.

Having found fame in the early 1980s as one half of the synth pop duo Soft Cell, Marc Almond has had a successful and diverse solo career that has seen him sell over 30 million records worldwide, collaborate with the likes of Gene Pitney, Tony Visconti and Jools Holland, and most recently performed as part of the BBC Proms celebration of the music of David Bowie.
