The veteran king of pop-soul music announces an extensive tour celebrating a key album and all those rhythmic hits…

Singer-songwriter Paul Young has announced that he will continue celebrating the 35th Anniversary of his ‘No Parlez’ album in 2019 with twenty-eight live dates in United Kingdom and four live dates in Ireland.

The tour begins on Friday 26th April 2019 at De La Warr Pavilion, Bexhill, United Kingdom and concludes on Thursday 27th June 2019 at Richmond Theatre, London, United Kingdom.

Young, winner of a Brit Award for best male vocalist, was a stand-out solo star of eighties pop, whose soaring vocals in songs such as ‘Wherever I Lay My Hat’; ‘Love of the Common People’ and ‘Come Back and Stay’.

Those three hits all featured on debut ‘No Parlez’ which was released in 1983 – the first of Young’s three UK number-one albums – and it helped make him a household name. The record stayed at the number one in the UK charts in 1983 for five weeks and became triple-platinum.
