Sam Fender Makes History As “Rein Me In” (with Olivia Dean) Breaks UK Chart Record
Sam Fender’s Rein Me In (with Olivia Dean) has created history by breaking the UK singles chart record, hitting 19 non-consecutive weeks at number one.
The previous record of 18 weeks was long held by Frankie Laine’s I Believe dating back to 1953, but Rein Me In this week tops that.
Sam Fender on the chart record: “I’m completely lost for words, thank you so much to Olivia Dean and the fans for making this song the juggernaut that it is.”
Sam Fender’s third album, the critically acclaimed, Mercury Prize winning and chart-topping People Watching is out now on Polydor Records.
