
Sidmouth International Jazz And Blues Festival Launch Brand New Education Program For 2025
Radiating good vibes from the sunny seaside town of Sidmouth, Devon 23rd – 26th May, and enjoying their fourth great year Sidmouth International Jazz and Blues Festival are to launch a brand new & engaging education program for 2025.
Alongside a stunning line up of the world’s finest Jazz and Blues musicians, including Soul II Soul, Gabrielle, Curtis Stigers, Eric Bibb, Nubiyan Twist, James Taylor Quartet and many more, the streets of Sidmouth come alive with pulsating rhythms, colourful dancers and four days of celebrations centred around the town’s vibrant market place.
Festival goers can enjoy jazz, swing, blues, roots, gospel, soul, funk, Latin and Cuban music with a New Orleans vibe, street food, parades, painted pianos and plenty of performers.
Throughout each day many free masterclass events and educational workshops for all ages will be held at local venues peppered throughout the town as part of the festival’s dedication to make music accessible for all and raise the profile of the beautiful town of Sidmouth.

All sessions are completely free, however those wishing to attend are advised to book their places in advance via the festival website, as venue capacities limit numbers. Following an opening concert from Soul II Soul on Friday, the education program launches on Saturday morning and runs through to bank holiday Monday, with the main open air stage performances taking place throughout each day and eve. Workshops include; Blues music lessons, Singing lessons, performance style & confidence building workshops, jam sessions, blues church service, family drumming workshops, music history (the story of jazz), guitar and bass masterclasses.
