Danielle Lewis – My Youth (Single)
Originally hailing from the West coast of Wales, Danielle Lewis is a singer-songwriter who has released her latest single ‘My Youth’.
Produced by Secondson (who also contributes acoustic guitar, bass, percussion, piano vibraphone), the track begins with a soft acoustic guitar that is then accompanied by Lauren Morgan’s light drumming alongside angelic piano as Lewis’ voice is calming and easy on the ear much like Hannah Reid of London Grammar or Karen Carpenter.
In conclusion, with powerful material like ‘My Youth’ it is hardly a surprise that she has a growing fanbase that includes Cian Ciaran of Super Furry Animals. With a debut album release scheduled for the future, I am very much looking forward to hearing more from this multi-talented woman.
