One of country music’s most exciting rising stars, Kay has been able to seamlessly blend heartfelt country storytelling with her huge social media presence, which she began building through her viral “Coffee Covers” series. Mixing this together with her powerhouse vocals, Kay has been able to build a career authentic to her, leading to the milestone of signing with BBR Music Group/BMG Nashville last year.
Alexandra’s debut label release Second Wind continues to gain momentum, charting at #36 on Top Country Albums, #10 on Top Current Album Sales, #11 on Top Album Sales, and #34 on Independent Albums – an impressive showing that underscores both her crossover appeal and strong sales performance. Celebrating the project’s chart-topping success, the Billboard “Rookie of the Month” is also impacting US country radio with her super-charged, Top 30 debut single ‘Straight For The Heart‘, whose 71 first-weeks adds put Kay in the company of Taylor Swift and Carrie Underwood among the Top Five of All-Time first-week debuts by a solo female artist on the Mediabase Country chart.
Beyond music, Alexandra recently opened The Coffee Girl – her hometown café in Illinois. Inspired by the nickname fans gave her during her viral rise, the café reflects her brand perfectly and showcases her growing entrepreneurial reach outside of music.
